Mathieu comes from Avignon, France and has always been interested in holistic healing and strongly believes that people can heal themselves. Mathieu holds a Master Degree in Computer Science and Microelectronics.  After moving to Houston, he got introduced to Pilates by his wife, My-Hanh.

At first, he started Pilates as rehabilitation for post knee surgery, which has helped him with gain mobility and strengthening. He became interested in Pilates because it focuses on the whole body; improving balance, strength, flexibility, and posture which he was able to incorporate it into his Judo practice. He is currently studying to earn his certification through the Pilates Method Alliance.

Mathieu is also  a Health and Wellness Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where he is trained in many dietary theories and various practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, he will be able to create a completely personalized roadmap to health that will suit his client's unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

Also, Mathieu is involved as a member for the Houston Area Woman's Center Young Leaders. This group is dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault, fundraising and providing volunteers to support the efforts of the Houston Area Woman's Center.

When Mathieu is not practicing Pilates, he likes to spend time with his wife, My-Hanh, and their soft-coated Wheaten terrier, Mochi. Besides Pilates, he also enjoys on a regular basis running, cycling, Judo, rock climbing, and skydiving.
